THE CRUSH

It started with an innocent crush with a lovely girl that I met last year. I was withdrawing at an ATM in Qlap and when I was walking back to my car, a black SUV was blocking my car. She stepped out of her car and walked pass by me towards the ATM. I smiled and murmured that I’d wait till she’s done and she smiled and just walk pass me without any other response. When she walked out the ATM, I saw her smiling walking pace-fully in my direction. She got in her car and and moved so I can pass through. I drove pass her car and saw her smile which made my heart skipped a beat that night. I was literally mesmerized by her witty smile.

THE SEARCH

Months passed and I still can’t find the mystery girl from the ATM… I was wondering if I will ever see her again hence the never ending search. But what I never realize was that the ‘girl’ was actually closer than I thought. She was close, closer to me, closer to my family, closer than I could never imagined. All this while that I couldn’t find her because I was looking in the wrong direction when all this while she was right under my nose but I was blinded by the mystery and the wild goose chase that led me to think that I could never gonna see her again.

THE FIRST CONTACT

Sometime in march, the person that I’ve been looking for all this while showed up to the Cafe that we used to hang out after work. There she sat directly in my view looking prettier than ever. I starred in awe with my mind wondering would this night be the night to talk and to win her heart to my dying heart that sunders from an inevitable aching conflict with my relationship that was concurrently wilting over time.

Alas, the night was done and I just sat there watching you leave with only your facebook name in my hand and an aching heart for not approaching you when I got the chance. So I went home that night overwhelmed by the thought that I still have a chance since I can send you a message which I did :) -

A few days later after our amusement little story of how I first laid my eyes on you the night of the crush (not realizing that I’ve seen you before in the past at a certain event of a certain common people that we know…) we decided to meet in person. I was speechless and couldn’t find the right words to even start a decent conversation and yet there we sit side by side letting it flow ‘all naturally’ .
